Apparently, not a lot of ghibli fans have had the opportunity to watch Nausicaa. She was one of the few featured in animation as a strong very independent and curious at the time. She was a princess no less! This movie portrayed deep political and environmental topics that was woven into a beautiful story. I have to make time to read the books to know what happens next!
