Here we are, I gave this con another year despite by review last year due to talking it over with several artists and their take on the event. After trying one more year, there were certainly improvements but I did see a significant drop in attendee count.
When I spoke to those that went, they did touch back on how uncomfortable their experience was in 2022. Some of which you attended this year were first time attendees to this con and other decided to give it another chance just as I and several artists did. ON that note, it was certainly cleaner and more ventilated this year. I still noticed some unsanitary debris dropping from the ceiling but hopefully this is something they'll repair next year. Bathrooms were wonderfully managed by janitorial staff. Definitely a dip in attendee count but hopefully it grows again next year and the event continues to improve their planning and management process.
I did enjoy seeing my local artists again on an event setting.
